Through product development and strategic compant acquisition Rockwood materials handling continues to provide its customers with a wide range of solutions to their bulk materials handling needs.

1977- V- v systems begins to supply stacker reclaimer technology to the United States.

1984- Fesco – Retec acquires V- v systems continuing delopment of stacker/ reclaimer technology.

1990- Consilium Bulk AB acquires Retecto expand its woodhandling product line.

1994- Babcocks Materials handling, “BMH” acquires Consilium Bulk to become a world leader for bulk materials handling.

1998- Beloit Rader acquires USA based BMH products lines. Rockwood materials handling is formed by former BMH employees and is awarded contracts for first stacker reclaimer.

2004- Rockwood acquires BMH stacker reclaimer and shiploader product lines to become the largest Stacker reclaimer supplier in north America.
